Grimes Cemetery

The CRPA begins restoration work this week (5 Apr 26) on the Grimes Cemetery. This week's work will focus repairing tombstones.

Several buried here belong to families that intermarried between Mine Lick Creek families and Cane Creek Families.

The major working occurred on 2 May 2026. With help from a group of volunteers from The River Church, the CRPA was able to completely restore this cemetery including repairing and cleaning tombstones. Donnie Nash has volunteered to continue keeping the cemetery mowed. Hopefully, with Donnie's help this cemetery will be in good shape for years to come.
