Jessie Stafford’s 50th birthday and Farewell to Geri and John Chapel

Fellowship is very important for the human race. With that as a goal, we have hosted many events at The Clavis Barn for those who live in the Roberts Switch community. On Saturday the 26th of April 2014 we had a multi celebration: The annual strawberry festival, celebration of neighbor Jessie Stafford’s 50th birthday (He had never had a birthday party before), and to say goodbye to neighbors John and Geri Chapel as they move to Columbia, Tennessee be closer to their family.

Music was provided for us by our favorite local group The Overall Gospel Band. The local ladies provided our food by bringing their favorite strawberry recipe dishes. God provided perfect spring weather and gave us time to practice His great teaching of “love your neighbor as yourself”. We are a blessed community because of us getting to know each other.
