JAMES LEE FAMILY VISIT

By Tommy Roberts, Jul 2019

James "Jim" Lee, descendant of Joseph Roberts, and his family are currently visiting Roberts Switch, Boma, and surrounding communities.  Jim lives in Georgetown, South Carolina where he is the Education and Outreach Coordinator of the Tom Yawkey Wildlife Center.  He attended Tennessee Tech in the 80s, but did not realize at the time that he was very near the home of his ancestors.

Jim's ancestry is thus:

Joseph Roberts

Miranda Roberts married William Browder Lee

Harmon Young Lee

Calvin Young Lee

Photo below of Jim visiting the "Heritage House".  As many of you know, the Heritage House was the home of Harmon Young Lee, Jim's great grandfather, in the late 1800s.

Gracie, Angela, and I enjoyed visiting Jim and his family.  We hope they can make next year's reunion and we look forward to taking a tour of the Tom Yawkey Wildlife Center some date in the future.
