Barnabass Harrison

Barnabass is the son of Richard Harrison and Elizabeth. I have not discovered Elizabeth's maiden name. He married Sarah Emily Allison on 11 Nov 1851 in White County, Tennessee. Emily was the daughter of James Allison and Jenny Scoby. Barnabass and Emily had 5 kids from 1855 to 1865.

Barnabass joined the Confederate services on 25 Nov 1862 in McMinnville, Warren County, Tennessee. Company muster rolls show him present for duty up until Jul 1863. No muster rolls are available after July 1863 so we don't know how he might have served after that.

I can find no records of his service in the USA Army or of POW status.

Barnabass and and his wife are buried in the Allison-Kemp Cemetery near Ditty, Putnam County, Tennessee.
